Proper positive drainage out and away from your foundation is essential to prevent the infiltration of water into a home. Beyond water problems in the basement or crawl space, extended saturation weakens the concrete and causes additional settling and movement of the home and foundation. 

Not all soils are created equal, so it is important to consider current soil types and what soil type, if needed, to import in order to prevent vertical percolation and saturation of the soil. If allowed we can fix most drainage-related problems through a surface drainage method. What this means to you is that we can regrade the yard to create a positive drainage system that will handle major rain events without fear of flooding. 

We use a system known as Blue Topping, in which we shoot in the yard with a laser-guided system and pre-establish our elevations before any cutting takes place. This assures everyone of what to expect and how the yard will look when completed.
